Great British Heritage Pass
One of the best ways to see British Castles and other popular heritage sites is to use the Great British Heritage Pass.
When you buy the Pass, you receive a smart card that provides admission to any of the attractions covered by the pass. Passes can be purchased that are valid for different time periods from 4 days to 30 days. Family pass are available that cover a family of 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 5 - 15 years.
The pass covers properties managed by the National Trust, English Heritage, The National Trust for Scotland, Historic Scotland, and Cadw (Wales) and others. The pass is available only to the overseas visitors.
As well as castles, the Great British Heritage Pass
allows you entry to many other historical attractions including Hampton Court Palace, Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge, Palace of Holyroodhouse.
