The castle is located just ten minutes from the M6 and M74 motorway network, near the border between Scotland and England.
If you are interested in a wedding at Comlongon, contact their wedding co-ordinators who will help with making the arrangements every step of the way. Co-ordinators are on duty every day of the week to offer free advice, help, and information and to answer any questions you may have on any aspect of your wedding plans. On your wedding day, a dedicated wedding co-ordinator is assigned to you for the day to help with the arrangements, and this is included in the cost of a wedding.

The Castle can cater for wide range of wedding from a small private wedding for two or a large wedding for over 170 guests. The wedding service can be held in the Great Hall, or held outside on the lawns.

Comlongon Castle has a individually themed and decorated rooms with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, Digital TV, ironing facilities and direct line telephones.
- The Carruthers Suite is a large suite with original views across the entrance to the hotel. The room contains a Jacobean style king size four poster bed and large tiled en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and double walk in shower.
- The Maids chamber was originally the maids room for the Countess of Mansfield. It is a double room with a king size brass bed and tiled en-suite bathroom, with views across the entrance to the hotel.
- The Mansfield Suite is a large suite with original Edwardian fitted cupboards and wardrobes. It has a huge, hand carved Jacobean style king size four poster bed, chaise lounge and en-suite Jacuzzi bathroom with views across the lawns and gardens through two window bays.
- The Stormont Suite has a king size four poster bed and large tiled en-suite bathroom facilities with views across the lawns and gardens,
- The Murray Suite has a huge medieval style king size four poster bed (that once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor), tiled en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and double walk in shower. It has views of the castle and gardens.
- The Maids Snug is a twin bedded room with restricted views of the castle, en-suite bathroom, with separate dressing area.
- The Solway Suite is the largest honeymoon suite with king size four poster bed, en-suite bathroom, accessed by a private corridor. The split level tiled bathroom contains large roll top bath in the centre of the room and double walk in shower. The suite has views across the entrance to the hotel.
- The Criffel Suite is a double room with king size four poster bed and views across the gardens. It is named after the views of The Criffel , the highest point in Dumfriesshire.
- The Ruthwell Suite is a large double room, with king size four poster bed, private en-suite and views across the gardens.
- The Caerlaverock Suite is a large room with carved mahogany Jacobean style king size four poster bed, Edwardian bedroom suite of furniture. The room has a small turret housing a dressing area, and two windows with views of the Castle and across the Solway coast to Caerlaverock castle.
- The Butlers Snug is a twin bed room with en-suite and restricted views of the castle
- The Guest Snug is a large twin room with en-suite and restricted views of the castle.
- The Cockpool Suite is a large wood paneled room king size four poster bed, en-suite dressing room with Jacuzzi bathroom.
- The Mouswald Suite is a family suite with four poster bed and two twin beds, in one room, en-suite bathroom and views to the drive.
