Castell Bryn Bras Castle. This Grade II listed building was designed by Thomas Hopper, the architect who also designed Penrhyn Castle, for Thomas Williams, a Welsh speaking solicitor. The most famous owner of the castle was Duncan Elliot Alves (1870-1947) whose name became synonymous locally with sumptuous living.
